For a design we are working on the hardware designer has specified a custom transformer and inductor both using Litz wire. For the proto-types he wound the coils himself and through trial and error soldered the Litz wire direct to the PCB (with difficulty). Now the design need to be made suitable to volume manufacture (10K parts) we are looking for a supplier who is experienced in custom windings using Litz wire and can produce parts with the Litz wire terminated to a component lead suitable for automated assembly and soldering (pref SMT) Does anyone have any suggestions for a supplier that can meet this requirement.
