Hi  All,

What do they mean by

  • Capacitance Cd Max @ Vr F:2.86pF

Can you guys recommend me a  VARACTOR ranging from 0.7pF to 10pF?

    Hello

Farnell stock a range of Variable Capacitor products, nothing covering the C band you have specified, but the two stock codes below cover 0.8-10pF.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

capacitance ratio over 10 is uncommon and limited to VHF devices (Si hyperabrupt diodes with Ctmax >20pF). If you are working in this range of frequency, one solution is to series connect a number of suitable varactors to scale down the capacitance. BB153 or BB639C/BB659C are a good starting point. 30V (per diode) are usually needed to Cdmin, so bias circuitry is not trivial.
