A project I am building requires an LM627N Op Amp. I can't find this device in the Element 14 catalog. Is there an equivalent type that I can look for?
Thank you.

I can't seem to find anything on this chip. Do you have a data sheet you could post for it? Or could you possibly post a schematic or something for the project?
Ok, well ive found a couple things. First off while just going through google searches it seemed that it came up alot that an OP27GPZOP27GPZ could replace it...??? Im not 100% sure of this, as the ones i have looked up are not exactly the same as in your data sheet. From looking at the datasheet I can tell you a few things (It being in chinese I cannot guarentee all of these, but im pretty sure);
1. It is an 8 pin DIP Op Amp (Im sure you already knew this)
2. It has a single comparator
3. The supply voltage is 15V (optimal) (3.5V to 18V operating range (not sure???))
4. The slew rate is 4.5V/us
If you go on whatever website you use to get parts and put in these parameters you may be able to find something similar.

Thanks for that info. Now I have a clue as to what characteristics to look for.

refer LM627N datasheet,I suggest OPA227 or OP228 replace it.

Thanks for your offer. Will let you know if I am stuck!
