Arduino Atmega 2560 to Simulink

Has anybody succesfully connected the Arduino atmega 2560 to Matlab/simulink. The add on package provided by matswork for the arduino board only supports the 328p so is there anyway i can change the code to allow it to read the 2560. The add on package basically converts the simulink model and converts it to code.
