Rachel Armstrong's expertise: Sustainability innovator who specialises in Technologies such as Synthetic Biology and Smart Chemistry.
Due to Rachel’s expertise in the field of sustainability innovation she has become involved with a number of organizations. She is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Architecture and Construction at the University of Greenwich. She is also Co-Director of AVATAR (Advanced Virtual and Technological Architectural Research) Group. Rachel is a senior TED (Technology Entertainment and Design) fellow as well as a Visiting Research Assistant for the Fundamental Living Technology Department. She is an extremely innovative scientist whose award winning research prompts a revaluation of how we think about our homes and cities and raises questions about sustainable development of the built environment.
