I am having trouble copying the components of one schematic to another. The error message that I get is : "Paste buffer is empty".
these are the steps I follow:
1. group all the components to be copied on schematic 1 using the group tool.
2. once the group has been made select the 'cut' tool
3. right click on the group and select ' cut:group'
4. close schematic 1
5. open schematic 2
6. select the paste tool from the 'editor' menu
I have even tried doing this without closing schematic 1 (step 4) but still doesn't work. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
