I have this rack mountable cisco switch, that is rather old, but its gigibit and the only 48 Port switch that I can get my hands on. Well I have two one that is working all good and this second one where the 3v coin battery is pumping out 0.5v compated to the one that will boot, which is 2.5v.
So after working that out I went in search of a replacment battery, not so easy. The battery I need is a Rayovac BR2335T3L-BABR2335T3L-BA which is sold here: http://au.element14.com/rayovac/br2335t3l-ba/lithium-battery-nw/dp/1816087?Ntt=BR2335T3L now that I have money that I can spend, I also found this coin battery with legs pop up as a alternative http://au.element14.com/rayovac/br2335t3l-ba/battery-coin-3v-300mah-smt/dp/2293267?in_merch=true&MER=MER-L53-L5IB-PD-ALT-BC#accessories
So I'll ask, would this second battery be okay to install without an issue or might it damdge the logic board in someway.
