I have this plantronics wireless headset

and while it's amazing, it's range isn't as long as I'd like it to be. Is it possible to build some type of range extender that I can run off of a small wall outlet cellphone charger and that I can place where the headset signal starts to weaken? I really have no clue as to go about any of this, but if I could build an extender, it would really raise my productivity.
