As the Topic head mentions I often head out and about for days at a time and the power grid here often suffers from overloads causing a crash for around an hour or so, I want to rig a relay into the button so when power goes out and the UPS shuts down my server, the server can then send a signal to shut down my ups by cutting the power flowing through the button, it will need to happen 5 minutes after the shutdown signal is send, any ideas on how I might set up a timer to receive a signal from the server as it is shutting down? I have an alright theoretical understanding of electronics but this will be my first build.
