Production Line monitoring

Hello,

I have a production line that should be monitored and collected information about the product on the line and down time. It should collect data about belts stop (up to 20 sensors), reading product barcode, IR temperature.

What kind of cards/ports I should use?

What is already on the line from a sensor perspective and control

Are there already barcde readers, sensors etc, you say there are already 20+ sensors, what type are they and what do they hook into, I would guess there is a PLC somewhere in the system or even more than one

I have several PLCs with 24V. I can install the new sensors if I need for monitoring the lines. As well I do not have any IR or Bar Code reader.
