Hi All,
I am definitely not an expert in electrics, and in need of advice. I live with wife and son at a small island in Thailand. We have powercuts (blackouts) sometimes. They don't last long, three-four hours at most, but when happen at night, it is impossible to sleep, as it quickly gets very hot. Our son is 2,5 yo and it is important he gets uninterrupted sleep.
What we really need is a battery, a power source, a power bank, that will power up one or two stand alone fans that we have, for up two 3-4 hours. I have attached the picture with the technical label on our fans.
The island is small, not too many competent electricians around to install and service something complicated, I am really looking for a all-in-a-box solution. So far the only product identified is Duracell Powersource but it looks like too much for our needs, also pricey. Any alternatives to it?
Any serious advice will be highly appreciated. Please do not advice me to move, to order a Tesla Powerwall - not available in Thailand yet, to install solar power (yes, lots of sun but no service available) or to buy a petrol generator (too noisy to sleep, to expensive to run). The latter may be an option though if no recommendations originate here.
Look forward to your comments.
