I just installed the Raspberry 7" Touchscreen, uploaded and updated my Raspian OS and then when I rebooted, the image was upside-down!
Any suggestions on how to fix this???
Many thanks in advance.

An update has been pushed to Raspbian to flip the screen ( rotate it by 180 degrees ) for a better desktop viewing angle. This makes it upside-down, so you'll need to change a setting to flip it back.
To do this, open /boot/config.txt in your favourite editor and add the line:
lcd_rotate=2
This will rotate both the LCD and the touch coordinates back to the right rotation for our display stand.
Don't use the documented display_rotate, it performs a performance expensive rotation of the screen and does not rotate the touch input.
...curtousy of Google.
Hi Peter.
Another simultaneous posting. :)
So there saying the viewing angle is different from each oposit side ??
Thank you Paul for this.
This will betray my ignorance and novice level but what is an "editor" and how can I access it?
Many thanks!
A text editor.
Nano for Linux command line, notepad in Windows etc.
Thanks Paul. But I'm sorry I don't understand how to access Nano.
Just so you know I am running a Pi Model B which had a pre-loaded microSD with Raspbian. That is the only OS that I have on the Raspberry Pi.
How can I access Nano? Do I need to load that first?
Appreciate your continued advice.
There should be an application such as leafpad on your raspbian os.
