PIC32MZ Chip Erase or Bulk Erase

Hello,

I have a PIC32MZ that has Code Protection enabled and as I understand it I need to perform a Chip Erase to clear all memory including the configuration memory before I can use the chip again.

Could someone shed light on this process? I have read the chip data sheet and programming information but it's not clear exactly how to accomplish.

using software

MPLAB X IDE and IPE

ICD 3 programmer

Enhanced pickit2 code protection problems! - Pic Programmers and Programs - Acidmods.com Say you only cannot read the hex. You should be able to program as normal. Are you having troubles loading code?

Erase, Blank Check or Verify work without error but when I go to program it fails saying the device is code protected.
