I need help determining what discrete blew on my whirlpool duet washer.  It looks like it says SL10 but not sure about the "0" and then has 10003 under it and what looks like "QJ" under that.  I would guess its a thermistor or cap but not sure.  I have a photo but do not see a way to post it.  Anyone have a guess at what this is.  Seems silly to throw out this whole assembly for a nickel part.  The subassembly price is nearly $300.

    Regarding the part, it is probably Ametherm SL10 10003Ametherm SL10 10003. There could be other parts damaged too, but worth a try,

    as you say it's a shame to waste $300 when a $1 part may fix it.
