A film capacitor I bought from Elements 14 (LCR FSC/EX120 pF 1% 630V - Elements order no. 952-0678) has a blue band at one end of the capacitor.  What does this indicate? Polarity (for a film capacitor) or any special precautions to take in soldering? Kindly advise.

    Dear Rachael and John,

Thank you so much for helping me to understand more about this subject.  It is a pity I don't possess the necessary equipment to carry out the tests.

    Kindest regards

    King
