Product substitute

I'm using an original Sinclair Spectrum keyboard for a Raspberry Pi project. I've been recommended a Minimus AVR USB Development Board to solder the molex to in order to use the keyboard but it's very hard to come by without using payment methods I've never heard of or sites that don't work..

Can someone recommend a substitute for this please. Would the Teensy2.0 USB AVR development board used by Ben Heck in some of his projects be a suitable replacement (which is easy to come by). I know where the molex would be soldered to (this picture came from the site where I got the guide from - the soldered lead was to bypass the USB) and I can get the code to program into the board

Many thanks for any help one can give me.

    Hi Patrick,

    E-bay has a near-equivalent:

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NooGroove-USB-Board-ATMEGA32-AVR-Stick-Minimus-AVR-LUFA-ATMEGA32U2-Dev-USA/172236400738?epid=…

Full documentation for that board is at this URL:

    https://code.google.com/archive/p/micropendous/downloads

By near-equivalent, I mean you should be able to use whatever documentation you have for the Spectrum project, but apply it to the new board, with very few changes.

The pinout is different. This diagram is in the zip file from the documentation URL:

Other than that, there is little difference between the boards.
