Has anybody out there used the Midas touch panel screen MCT070U6TW800480LMLCMCT070U6TW800480LMLCfarnell part 2483374? There is no info in the data sheet as to how the touch panel data is transmitted. The panel uses RS232 commands to place pre-stored images onto the screen and as such is ideal for control via a PIC as you don't need to transmit the image. It also has a resistive touch panel, which obviously works as it places a marker on the screen when you touch it. There is no clue, however, as to how i get the touch location back to the PIC. Anyone done this already to save me spending hours trying to figure it out :-(
