Vishay 10nF 'Snubber' Caps

Question

Hi, I just bought a small supply of these (Mfg P/N: KP1830310251 ) for a 'snubber' application with dual schottky diodes in a rectifier bridge configuration. Please can you tell me if they are 'bipolar', types?(That is, NO or leads)

So it doesn't matter which way round to solder them?

They are polypropylene capacitors, so they should be insensitive to polarity in much the same way as polyester or ceramic capacitors are. These belong to a class of capacitors known as film capacitors, which are generally not polarised.

For polarity sensitive through-hole capacitors, they will be marked clearly on the package as to which connection is positive or negative (usually on the case) and one of the legs (the positive one) is longer.
