Question

Just a heads-up, I do not frequent this site. Its nature being out of my league and above my paygrade. I'm a motorcycle mechanic. The reason for my involvement is strictly seeking Computer Information. You'll never see me answer questions, only asking them. So if you could please keep the information specific to my questions I promise you won't hear me sound like an untrained ape! Ha, Anyways

As you can see by the title, my question is regarding VPN's. So without further ado...

Do VPN's hide the Home Router IP or just the Device IP? Can VPN's hide Home Router IP's, and if so...……………………………………………………………………………………………………... Tell me how to do so?!

^ That was my reason for not replying previously.. a good quality answer for the type of question you ask, requires me to ask questions about the purpose.

You may think you don't need to provide additional information or context, but a good answer requires it.

A short answer may give a false sense of security, and the in-depth answer is not straightforward, so the question needs additional input to narrow down the answer.
