padmavilas

I am looking to see if there are solderless connectors that can be used for castellated edge half holes such as the ones on this board https://www.newark.com/nordic-semiconductor/nrf52840-dongle/bluetooth-module-v5-2mbps/dp/65AC6168?ost=nrf52840+dongle&ddkey=https%3Aen-US%2FElement14_US%2Fsearch

thank you for your help

There was a recent project on hackaday that might give you some inspiration: https://hackaday.com/2019/12/07/simple-pogo-programmer-for-esp8266-modules/

Unfortunately, padmavilas these are for https://www.pcbunlimited.com/engineering/castellated-mounting-holes-pcb-fabrication which intend to be solder to another board. You need to specify what you want…

I was simply wondering if there was a way to temporarily connect the above dongles to breadboard without soldering anything. I was hoping some solution like a clip that could be spring loaded keeping pressure…

The pogo pin idea is good.

You might also be able to use an IC test clip (made by Pomona or 3M) - you may need a 24 pin version to get the width you need:
