What is an "Action Item"?

If it is important then clicking on the link should bring to a page where this so-called action item is. Also, it should be front & center so I don't have to go hunting for it.

Hi Phil,

An action item is a tracked event where "action" by the assignee is expected in a defined time frame.

I would always establish a task list for each AI so that I could report progress and demonstrate that I did not "drop" the ball on an assigned task.

I agree, if it was worth assigning, there should be a firm link to the AI and visibility to all parties involved.
