Tape & Reel Packaging - Miniature Reels?

My question relates to tape and reel packaging. Not being a tape and reel expert, I'd like your opinion on the sizes available.

I would imagine that reels are designed to accomodate the optimum number of components but I have an application (sampling) that requires a very small reel, perhaps 10 - 15cm in diamater. I wonder if such a reel exists as a standard product? In all your collective years in electronics have you ever seen such a reel or is this pure non-sense??
