Before I ask my real question I should probably find out if I'm in the right place. I'm looking for a person to help with the electronics design for a new project I'm starting. It's not a full time employment type search but more of a "let's start a part-time business" type of search. Can I post the specifics of that type message here?
I am not a moderator and do not know if a restriction like you want to do here is but, AFAIK, here is an open community an i don't see any reason not to leave such kind of messages here, besides i am not a moderator again. But, for all that, it would be better create a new group like Project Offers and leave your message there.
It seems to me that information aboug designing a particular type of circuit should be posted to the appropriate forum, but information about starting a new business is not part of what Element-14 is intended. To minimize the possibility that someone might try to "steal" your idea, do not mention that you are starting a new business, but only ask for the design help that you need.
I agree with you that here is not intended to make business but i don't think Larry intends to declare the money he will pay for his project. He places his proejct here and if someone likes the project, he will connect him off the group. Otherwise, as you stated, that would be not so good.
Is it only a single person you are looking to help? If so post in a relevant group, embedded, communication etc depending on your type of project.
Far better is to let the community help you. You can go to the relevant group, and either start a thread called "project- name", and get advice there, or just post individual questions to the appropriate group. If you need any help send me a pm,
