Can anyone advise on this connector on my print finishing equipment. I managed to break in whilst moving premises at the weekend.

Its 28pins, two rows on ten with a row of eight between them.

Thanks

Trev.

I recognize that connector as one I used in a rack mount situation many years ago. How many screws are holding the connector to the housings, 2 or 4? In the mean time, I'll look up what I think it is in the Digi-Key catalog.

    hi Trev,
Hirose have responded and it looks pretty likely its one of theirs.  Please check out these two datasheets:

    http://www.element-14.com/community/docs/DOC-26850/l/1300-seriespdf
    http://www.element-14.com/community/docs/DOC-26851/l/1600-seriespdf

These ranges are very old legacy connectors with very low sales volumes so not something i would consider for Farnell to stock / sell, however if you can identify the part number you need from the datasheets (check measurements etc) i may be able to get an FOC sample (if ones available)
    rgs
    Andy
