Hello,
I am currently working on a arcade cabinet referb, but I am trying to spruce up the attraction factor a little bit... the problem is that I know what I want to do but I have NO idea how to make it happen.
So here is what I would like:
(I have plenty of power supplies available) so depending on how much power is needed I can go from as little as 5v, 12v (DC) or 110v (AC) )
PCB1:
1a.) When powered on... Image displays on display and stays on through rest of sequences.
Video Input | Analog 0.7VPP (75Ω)/TTL 2.5-5.0VPP (2KΩ) |
H-Frequency | 15/24/31KHz, Auto |
V-Frequency | 47-70Hz |
Bandwidth | 65MHz |
Resolution | 640 x 480 max |
1b.) Sound clip (wav or mp3) plays after 3000miliseconds. ( Sound mono output but enough power to push a 25watt 8ohm speaker. (a small audio amp is probably needed here I'm sure and having a volume knob would be ideal )
2.) After Sound Clip Plays... sequence 4 seperate external 14v light bulbs 1, 2, 3, 4.... 1, 2, 3, 4.... All fade in and all fade out...
3.) Next, it wait for button press from external (micro switch terminal)
4.) After button press, play another sound clip then imediately shut down until next power up.
PCB2:
I would like to teach the device a word, a couple different variations of the word, so that if it hears the words it then turns lights on for a specific amount of time then fades out... resets and listens again. (12v approx 6 - 8 light outputs + and gnd for each)
( Idealy I would like it to listen to the arcade audio output and not ambient sound) in other words, I don't want it to listen to me or the other players, but rather the game audio only... pass-through would be perfect.) and adding external on off switch would also be great.
If anyone thinks they can help me figure this out I would definately be grateful and donate for the help... I've been working on this project for two years now and being able to do the things listed above would just put it over the top.
I can't really read schmatics but I do have fairly decent soldering skills. I'm certainly not rich, but I would pay for parts and reasonable labor. Obviously I would like to discuss my options first.
Thanks in advance.
