I'm trying to pick the right thermistor to use in a low fuel circuit in a vintage Ford Thunderbird. The circuit contains a 12 volt relay that is grounded through the thermistor. When the fuel (gasoline) level is low enough, the thermistor is uncovered and warms up, completing a ground for the relay and turning on the low fuel light. The original parts are no longer available, and the Chinese aftermarket fuel tank units don't work correctly. I've read part # 20F735 (RL204-582-97) worked for someone else. My 12 volt relay draws .22 amps. Any guidance would be great.
