Is it possible to make a on/off switch for the cat 5 cable that is plugged from my computer to my router. The actual cable from my router to the computer would have a switch/button/dial in between the comp and router. When switched is would disconnect the wires. The result is that there is no hard wired connection from the computer to the router anymore. Kind of like a alternative from disconnecting the cable from the back of the computer.
Is this possible?
