need default user name and password for sudo linux os

just bought rasberry with linux os sd card. after loading, it asks for user name and password. Don't know what it is.. Anybody out there that can help please.

For Raspbian, it's username "pi" and password "raspberry" -- both case-sensitive.

There should be one included by default. I'm still using Debian "Squeeze" and I've used the "midori" browser occasionally. Other people might have other suggestions. For RasPi-related questions, I recommend posting to the RasPi group: http://www.element14.com/community/groups/raspberry-pi
