I have just started using the Arduino and waned to know if it is possible to use it to replace and printer I have fitted to a machine that sends data in the RS232 format to the printer to print out, however I would like to be able to use an ardunio to replace the printer and send the RS232 to the Ardunio and then save it on to an SD card.
I have the SD card shield but I am not sure how to move forwards.
