PCB Designing help request

Dear Sir imageJorge_Garcia

We are a new embedded systems company,we start to work especially in wearable devices

I'm asking if you can give us some references,guides & consideration for designing PCB in that tiny size because our experience is in normal designing not in that very small size

We need to know too if element14 can make PCB prototypes for us after we finish designing our first product or just they make only massive production.

 

I don't know if this the right department to ask,if it is not kindly forward my request to the right one.

    If you can't design the pcb yourselves then look for a local company that can. Find one that you can visit because you need to get to know the layout engineer. You don't say where you are so I can't give any specific advice.

    If you have load so f money you can go to a big full service kind of design company but you will pay a LOT more for the design. if you are going to make more than 100,000 devices and have the funds this might make sense but your first step should be to hire someone who's managed this process before.

     

    I suspect that your company is very small so my advice is that should work with other small companies, so that you are an important client to them.

     

    Designing and building tiny and complex electronic products is a lot more than just pcb layout - look at the teardowns of consumer products on the web and ask yourself if you have the tools to play in this arena ?

    We are in Dubai,UAE

    we have already designers & experts for the product shape & the other things like marketing & advertising

    the only problem now is with PCB finishing,because after search i found that there are different PCB technologies for wearable devices like Flexi-rigid for example

    our engineers used to work for normal PCB designing,so we need to know the way to start with that new PCB technologies & work in that small designing size

    so i will be thankful if you can give me advice for that,and if you know companies can help too (my last option)

    Sorry - can't advise on anyone in Dubai - I'm in South West Scotland. You really need to find a local subcontractor or company.
