I'm new to Raspberrypi. OS question.

I bought the B with an OS, which is on a SD card but there is only a mini SD slot and 4 USB ports/ I've put the SD card into a USB adapter but the OS has not booted up. Any suggestions?

    On My B+ it also came with a full sized SD card but it was a carrier for the microSD so it would work for the A, B and B+

     

     

     

    Is it possible you misses that , it can sometimes be hard to see that it has both

    Looking at the SD card on top, there is a small ridge at the far end from the connector. pull gently and you should look like this:
