Noobs card question

Former Member
Former Member over 10 years ago

I've been hunting around for a official noobs card for the raspberry pi recently and found 2 noobs card on the this website

MBMS8GVCGDAW-CK001-FARN/KIT - SAMSUNG - MEMORY, MICRO-SD, 8GB | Farnell element14

MMCTR08GUBCH-RMLMK-FARN/KIT - SAMSUNG - MEMORY, MICROSD, NOOBS, JAVA | CPC

Just wanted to ask what is the difference between these 2 cards? Is the first link an upgraded (class 10?), official noobs card optimised for raspberry pi 2 or is it still the current class 6 official noobs card with a new firmware update?

What would the recommended card be for pi 2?

Cheers

If you follow the trail to the data sheets they have the exact same sheet QED there the same device, the parts number differences are probably simply different for the sake of the seller or just a version…

Hi, thanks for the quick answer. Just checking which Samsung cards they were since they released a new line up last year. Wanted to make sure that I bought the most suitable card (performance wise) for the pi before I take the plunge.

    Thanks.
