Pixelated signal on terrestrial tv channels

Bren
Bren over 3 years ago

Hi,

I have tuned my Tv to local broadcasting, l have a Amazon firestick plugged into the tv HDMI slot. I had a brand new Ariel fitted and a Wolsey LTE WFAV425 part No 370562 mast head amplifier fitted in the loft. However l can’t watch normal TV as it pixelates . Any suggestions?

p.s. the amplifier is not powered and l don’t think this model can be.

thanks

Bren

Yes. According to the datasheet: "Kit includes WPS 100 Power Supply, 12VDC, 100mA Max Fully screened". That voltage should be injected in one of the outputs, according to the photo of beacon_dave . …

Here's a photo of the supply: Fair use ebay You need to route one of the output coaxes through this supply. It will deliver the power over that wire.
