Raspberry Pi 4 model B/ Explore-NFC/ No Adapter Found

Hi,

I have an explore-nfc v1.6 board and a Raspberry Pi 4 model B. I tried to run the nfc reader but still get the same problem. Software package from NXP SW2827.zip according to design
www.youtube.com/watch

or from a document

www.nxp.com/.../AN11480.pdf

I keep getting the same error

neardal_mgr_prv_get_all_adapters (): Error: 2: GDBus.Error: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.neard was not provided by any .service files
No adapter found

I noticed that the package on the NXP website no longer contains the file from the movie libwiringpi<version>_armhf.deb , maybe it's the wiringPi problem or the Raspberry Pi 4 is too new. I have SPI enabled.

It is a university project so I need to solve my problem as soon as possible. I am asking for help in solving my problem.

I don't know the answer, but this board is so old, that yes, it is possible that libwiringpi could be the issue, or part of the issue. Register values changed with Pi 4. Generally Pi 3 or 3B+ etc is a far better option if you are uncomfortable digging into the source code for older hardware. The NFC card really doesn't need the performance or expense of the Pi 4.

That being said, I have no idea if things would work with Pi 3/3B+ etc.
