Best way to eliminate a ground loop if only 1 power supply available. I.e which powers sensor, signal ground and a daughter board from arduinos different power supply rails?

    Ground loops are minimized by having only one path of return to a power supply. Ground voltage can be affected by the amount of current through the ground path, which can erode logic thresholds, so you want to minimize the ground current between digital systems. Which can sound contradictory - if you draw out your situation, more help may be possible.
