I want to connect two audio amplifiers in different rooms so the output from Amplifier 1 can be input to Amplifier 2 and sent on to loudspeakers connected to Amplifier 2.
The rooms are on opposite ends of the house so running a cable is not an option.
There is already standard co-axial cable ports in both rooms that can be connected in the attic - this was originally intended for TV signals.
Amplifier 1 ( Technics Su-V570 PSX Caps) has a Phones Out port.
Amplifier 2 (Pioneer SX-N30AE) has several Analog Audio in ports and also has a Digital Co-Axial in Port
My question is - can I connect the co-axial cable via a suitable adapter from the Phones Out port of Amplifier 1 into either the Analog Audio in OR the Digital-Co-Axial in(using an analog-digital converter) on Amplifier 2 ?
Would the sound quality deteriorate significantly ?
