31 pin straight connector; Piezo Controller; LabVIEW

Dear Everyone

 

I got a piezo controller board, and want to program it through LabVIEW

 

 

The communicate port of the board is a 31 pin straight connector.

 

 

pin 8 is GND

pin 9 is +15

pin 10 is -15

 

 

I want to charge the board. How to do it? Could I charge the board via USB of PC?

 

 

pin 16 is display output:um, selectable via DIP switch

pin 20 control signal input

pin 21 control signal output

pin 26 status overflow

pin 28 VC/EC

 

 

And I need to connect pin 16,20,21,26,28 with PC. How I do? What kinds of cable do I

 

 

need to have?

    An USB-port can supply 5 Volt 1 Ampere. It is possible to make + 15V and -15V from +5 Volt. Then you need a +/-15Volt supply with an input voltage of 5 Volt. However if the board needs more than 5 Watt you need a separate +/- 15Volt power-supply. If you don’t have a mating connector you could use contacts from a different type of connector  and push them on the pins of your piezo controller board. For the connection to your PC you must know which protocol and signal level this board is using. (RS232, RS485, SCSI, Parallel, USB etc.)
