New A/C fan motor .

I bought a new A/C fan motor but it doesn't work. What could probably be the fault?

  • We will need more information - What equipment are you dealing with? What model of fan? Have you checked for voltage on the connections? Traced and confirmed the relays are working? Checked for control voltage? Checked it is not in defrost cycle? What connections have you made? Is it the right voltage? Does the rotor spin freely?

  • Look on the device to see if there is any information you can share? You are looking for manufacture, model and or power requirements. If no details maybe include a pic and someone might recognize it.

    Was your purchase from a junk bin or a motor dealer. Labels in thrift store purchases may not reflect the actual item. It is there best guess.
