I am starting out on a project which requires precise control of a BLDC LV motor (e.g. scooter hubmotor), and have procured two devkits from Microchip. (MCLV-2 & dsPIC33CK LV Motor Control Dev Board), but I'm stuck just getting going.
The latter Dev Board (dsPIC33CK), although newer, does not have the "Measure Motor" function, and as the motor I'm using has unknown specs, I can't get any further.
The former Dev Board (MCLV-2), which is older does have this function, but is not powerful enough to run this hubmotor - it keeps failing on overcurrent warning.
So I'm stuck at this point - hoping for a leg-up.
