Need help with a router

Needs an industrial router for a company located in a remote area, the coverage there is poor, there are only trees around....
I would like the device to have a fibre optic interface....

Has anyone had contact with it and can advise ? Any suggestions? Tell me more about this model ?

    I doubt they will allow you to attach some random router. Whatever gets selected is something that they will likely have to configure and manage, so they ought to be consulted and let them make the decision. They are unlikely to go for some random router, no matter how good or bad it might seem from the website. Have you tried connecting an unknown device to the company network? A random router will automatically get blocked.. (assuming the IT department is competent).

  • There are numerous potential solutions. However, we'd need more information about your bandwidth needs, network connectivity in the area, and the budget that is available. My first thought is that the 5G device you linked to is probably not the best choice in a remote area since 5G networks are not generally available in rural areas. Are you looking to connect with fibre to the WAN/Internet or to the LAN/Industrial network.

    Many industrial use cases are fairly low bandwidth so satellite or LoRaWAN WAN connections might suit your needs- but there are also many other possibilities.
