Hi All
Looking for recommendations on a low power LoRaWAN MCU ie radio and processor in a single package.
Cost is of course an issue. I really need sub 5 USD.
Thanks

Ai-Thinker RA-08H is very low-cost. It's $5.14 in quantity of 1250 on the Digikey website, but it's cheaper even in individual quantities from places like AliExpress, so I suspect you could get it for a far lower price from China.
Internally, they contain a ASR6601 wireless microcontroller, which has a STAR-MC1 processor, which is closely like an ARM Cortex-M, but is a Chinese variant. Toolchain is available for Linux, with plenty of examples.
Hi
Perfect do you have one to recommend. I am looking at them but part numebers are really confusing.
STM32WL33CCV6 - I cannot see this does LoRaWAN?
RS comes up with:
STM32WL55CC (U6)
STM32WL55CC (U7)
Not sure the difference between U6 and U7 ?

Amazing. I couldn not find that. Thank you
I've used a lot of ST parts - their data sheets have a consistent layout.

You can check the ASR605x Series (ASR6501/ASR6502) series.
