We are seeing an issue with AXI functionality on the K26 SOM when using a custom hardware design.
When our Vivado design includes AXI nodes, the SOM boots and works normally after loading the custom.dtbo and .bit.bin files. We are able to use the system and test it for some time. However, after running for a while on our custom carrier board, the system freezes, the module temperature increases.
Once this happens, the affected SOM boots fine only if we use an image or bitstream that does not include AXI nodes (for example, the K26 starter kit image) and also the same image while som freezes suddenly (without loading the bitfile and dtbo in firmware). Erasing and reprogramming the SOM restores normal operation, as long as the AXI-enabled .dtbo and .bit.bin files are not loaded.
We done with iterations which do not include AXI nodes, with the damaged SOMs. They were working fine.
Any suggestions on what could cause this or how to debug it would be appreciated.
And I am attaching a text file which displays the boot log of the SOM after loading the dtbo and bitfile.
