Experience using Lascar EasyLog Data Logger

Hello, has anyone used the Lascar EasyLog Data Logger before? Is it normal for the logger to functioning inconsistently during first few datalogging sessions? (i.e. due to slight movement disconnecting the internal circuit connection, disabling the datalogging function midway datalogging session)

I don't own that device, but of course disconnection issues wouldn't normally sound usual. You may have a faulty unit, perhaps an intermittent connection somewhere in your setup or device, if movement…

What is your kind of this Lascar data logger?

The battery might be nearly dead—or at least its voltage has dropped below the normal operating level.
Alternatively, there could be an issue with the battery contacts.
Whenever I get new battery-operated devices, I always clean both the battery contacts and the device's contacts, as oxidation can occur.

If the device uses rechargeable batteries, you have to ensure the voltage doesn't drop below the normal operating level.
For instance, simply removing the battery and immediately putting it back in can sometimes make the device work again.

This points to the issues mentioned above.

Another possibility is that the "cheap" software crashes for some reason—perhaps due to the aforementioned issues or something else.
Again, removing and reinserting the battery can often get it working again.

Contact oxidation or dust on the contacts is often invisible, yet it can cause intermittent connection issues.
