Need advice on Clamp Wattmeters

mudz

Hi members image
I am looking for inexpensive handheld (maybe clamp) meter which can measure power factor, Power KW or HP equipment & other basic things voltage, ampere, frequency. I'm working with 3 phase motors and power so I need an equipment for the same. I cannot go beyond 250$ I know its low but I wish to know if anything is near that range?
Thank you

    Hi Mudz,

I do not believe that a Clamp Wattmeter is available. One needs potential and current to derive wattage. While the clamp meter will give you current if calibrated for a particular system it can't determine voltage. You could of course measure the voltage and do your own calulations. Here is a used wattmeter that was listed on e-bay. As you can see the power source and the load are routed through the meter.
