Wearable fabric that captures any shapes tomography

Hi Everyone

 

I would like to create a wearable fabric that can show the shape of any object . For example  a piece of material is placed on a ball, i want to be able to show on a 3d computer graph, the cloth with the balls contour underneath. It would be great to transmit this by wifi to a device too.
