I need to check if a network of Modbus devices (on RS-485 that is) is correctly wired and devices are functioning ok, without having access to the device that is the controller at this time. I've seen some programs but they probably do more than I need. Just something simple that I can easily set up to poll each address from a notebook computer (running Windows) and see what I'm getting.
Does anybody have a recommendation please?
