Panel Meters - DC Volt and Amp Meters

Hello

We are an Electric Motor Repair Shop based in Adelaide South Australia.

I am after digital panel meters and any associated voltage / current transformers to display the following DC voltage and current levels.

Field Volts & Amps

Display DC Volts – 0 to 484 Volts

Display DC Amps – 0 to 22 Amps

Armature Volts & Amps

Display DC Volts – 0 to 605 Volts

Display DC Amps – 0 to 385 Amps

I would like individual digital display for voltage and current for each Field and Armature components please.

Can anyone recommend a complete solution to fit our needs as we do have the skills to build a meter from a component level?

Thank you.

You can buy hand held meters and attachments to make these measurements easily enough.

If you are building a test rig yourself and really want a nice neat set up with meters and controls embedded in a decent looking panel I'd need some specs before making any suggestions.

It doesn't sound to me as if you should be thinking of lashing up a couple of those sub $10 panel meters you see on Ebay image

Would you run the 385A current round the back of your panel or will you need the current sensor on a flying lead.

Do you need traceable calibration ?

    Hello Michael

We have hand held meters however the panel meters are to be installed into an enclosure and it is to be clearly visible to any technician who uses the test panel.

A solution has been presented by Introtech which looks good Model 4006 & 4001 but pricey.

Calibration is not critical as these meters are indicators only.

just looking for other ideas and solutions.
