GSM M2M SIM card provider Europe - SMS only or SMS focused - low message count

Question

I'm looking for a SIM card provider that has a solution for low volume SMS messaging.

If possible, a pre-paid bundle of SMSes instead of a monthly fee.

Delivery of SMSes is not time and quality critical - no person (living or fictional) dies if this service is not industry standard.

Anyone in the e14 universe dealing with this type of purchases?

For prototyping I can use any provider, but when adding the SIM card to a product, I'd like to know the options.

Hi Jan I roadtested a Symbisa , which runs on Hanhaa 's own 2g network. They operate on a pre-purchased credits model (one message payload = 1 credit). 1000 credits is around £11 including VAT. I think they offer their 2g network for anybody to use, but I'm not sure how you might go about implementing it on your own device. Might be worth asking them.

Hi Jan, I’ve used EE Pay As You Go SIMs for prototyping this sort of thing in the relatively recent past, buying a month’s subscription and far too many SMSs bundled for just a few pounds per SIM, but for production use in the more distant past I’ve used and would recommend a company called WirelessLogic - https://www.wirelesslogic.com/

This company may be worth a try - although it is based on a flat rate it does look very good value. Pricing is €10 for 250 SMS and 500MB data allowance. Expires after 10 years. https://1nce.com/
