LED for pulse oximeter

Former Member
Former Member over 14 years ago

Hello,

Do you know a company who sells (apropriate) LED for pulse oximeters?

We need very small LED, preferably a "pack" with an IR and RED led.

Thanks.

if you are going to chip in to year old threads selling your stuff you could at least provide a proper link to the suitable part. Do Harvatek actually sell a dual sm IR/red LED such as Mario and Nakki…

You do need to get similar wavelengths and drive the IR emitter quite hard.

What is the Red LED for? Do you mean ID LED and IR phototransistor pair?

I used this pair, both from Farnell, in my home-made Arduino project for this from the book '30 Arduino Projects for the Evil Genius'. The long number is the Farnell order code.

5mm IR LED sender 940 nm
