just by looking at their base facts and then finding a suitable way to drive parts I already have.
all just by looking at the base data on the website.
We look at how much hardware is needed to obtain closed loop control and which axis are currently worth upgrading to a super sophisticated setup.
I also mention some situations where you would get a devkit of a specific driver, and how to proceed from there.
Of course this is just my simplified take on this rather complex topic and I'd be very happy for any correction or additions you might have.
